Welcome to Blackrock Barn, a converted 18th century stone barn set on a working farm near Hay-on-Wye on the border of Wales and England.
The open plan cottage features a large window with soft floor-to-ceiling drapes framing a stunning view, and a king-size ash frame bed. Clean lines throughout, the custom-built kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. The bathroom is finished with high-end fixtures and pale green tiles. Luxurious 100% cotton linens and bath towels are provided.
This is a place to relax and enjoy views of the River Wye and Black Mountains and explore the Welsh countryside. Have morning coffee on the lavender-scented flagstone terrace amidst the characterful Grade II listed farm buildings and walk to Hay 2.5 miles along Offa’s Dyke Path.

Cabalva Farm practices sustainable sheep and cattle grazing, and farm visits are welcome. Private fishing on the River Wye is available with or without our guide by prior arrangement.
